Whatever your next destination is, you most likely want to take as many breathtaking pictures as possible.
With these few tips and tricks you are guaranteed to turn your simple holiday pictures into masterpieces.
Get a wrist strap
Nothing screams ‘tourist’ like letting your expensive camera dangle around your neck. It is unsafe (both for you and your camera) and will get in the way of all the other bags and straps you have on you. Invest in something like the Peak Design Cuff Camera Wrist Strap; this keeps your camera always on hand, without ever compromising its safety. It will also increase your reaction speed.
Better safe than sorry – make sure to back up every picture you take. A wi-fi enabled hard drive, like those produced by Western Digital, is a great way to back up on the go.
Talk to people
Doesn't matter if they’re tourists or locals – they will be able to give you great advice on (hidden) places to go that are picture worthy. Plus, you might even find a few travel companions on the way.
Shoot at a different angle
Try from the hip! Different angles will provide a different perspective on things, giving your images a unique touch, whilst also distancing it from the standard photographer’s pose.
All in all, it is about enjoying your travel as much as you can - blurry pics or not, you are bound to have a great time and will come across many adventures.
