Luxurious hotel for both you and your pets
Great news for animal-lovers who like travelling with their beloved companion; the luxurious Hotel Bristol in Austria has now opened its doors to pets.
Hotel Bristol offers welcome packages for dogs and cats, with dogs receiving a personalised chewable bone.
Additionally, the rooms are made up of comfortable beds, blankets, hand towels, toys and organic shampoo.
Snacks and cookies (including Viennes snacks) are available in both vegan and vegetarian options. The hotel offers dishes such as poached fish and beef tartare, with prices starting at $25.
In case you want a lazy night in, you can always order room service.
The hotel provides a Viennese city guide to visitors, outlining dog friendly places in the city. If wished, dog-sitters and after-dinner walking services are of course taken care of.
Simone Dulies, the general manager of the pet-friendly Hotel Bristol, takes her dog Brix, to work with her every day. She told the BBC: "My dog is like my baby, so if a hotel is nice to my dog, the same as it should be to a mum with her kids, then that's some major brownie points from me."
This sumptuous stay is provided for €50 per pet per day, from which €5 is donated to the animal welfare organisation, TierQuartier Wien.
